Chief Information Officer
Phil heads up our Information Technology group, which provides services and support for all companies within Salta Properties and Westgate Ports. He has directed several major projects such as the total redesign and implementation of Salta's new IT environment. Other projects include the rollout of a corporate wide customer relationship management (CRM) application, asset management system and a corporate performance management platform (Business Intelligence).
Phil has 23 years experience as a business focused IT professional with the past decade being in senior IT executive positions. He is multi-skilled in many facets of the business, having had experience in strategic planning, business - IT alignment, portfolio/program/project management, CRM, balanced scorecard, business intelligence, business case proposals and business process re-engineering/workflows.
Complimenting Phil's extensive skills and practical experience is his academic achievements. He has a Masters in Business Administration, a Business Degree in management and an Associate Diploma in Engineering Electronics. He also has qualifications in Project Management as a PRINCE2 Practitioner, in Program Management as a MSP Practitioner and in IT Service Management with a certificate in ITIL.
Phil joined Salta Properties in early 2007 and has previously worked within the logistics industry for Toll Holdings as Head of IT for their $4.5 billion Australia Division and National IT Manager for Toll IPEC. Before this, he worked in several industries for private, public and federal government organisations.
