Apartment sales at 150 Clarendon Street, East Melbourne, have surpassed the significant milestone of 70 per cent of total value. The sales milestone equates to more than $250 million, which is cause for celebration given the low key marketing of the project to date.
The construction of the building is now moving as quickly as sales, with floorplate expansions complete and division walls between apartments now being put in place. The installation of plumbing, air conditioning and exhaust fans is progressing while the second of the two new lift cores has started to climb through the building. The building's former plant room has now also been demolished, which makes way for work to start on the penthouse and sub-penthouse levels.
Meanwhile, the Department of Planning has approved the application of the proposed high-end restaurant and European Enoteca on the apartment building's ground floor.
