Mercy Aged Care
This development by Salta Properties is being built by Salta Constructions and will provide a nursing facility for Mercy Health and Aged Care. The project involves the design and construction of a 110-bed facility providing a mix of low care, high care and extra service status places to the community. The project comprises basement car parking and back-of-house operations, three levels of accommodation, residents' facilities and administrative areas built around a feature landscaped courtyard. There is also a fourth level comprising an ESS club lounge, terraces, games areas and the like. The overall project has a gross floor area of some 8,000 m2. Salta has implemented a responsible design aesthetic that complements the site context, built form and landscape character of the surrounding area, in order to provide benefit to the East Melbourne precinct as a whole.
