Whitten Oval

Salta Constructions is responsible for the redevelopment of the Whitten Oval to include an Elite Training Centre for the Western Bulldogs Football Club, accommodation for associated administration and corporate operations, medical facilities, a functions centre, community office space and associated parking and parkland areas. The Elite Training Centre is a major component of the project and it is set to become the largest and most prestigious training facility in the AFL. Also significant to the project is the construction of an infill building that will join two grandstands and provide a function centre that will become the heart and soul of the club. Combining new and existing buildings, plus working around an operating facility, the project is both challenging and rewarding for Salta Constructions. The works also include the construction of an all new Children's Hub, which includes a 105-place child care centre, community meeting areas, children's external play areas, associated car parking and landscaped gardens.
