Salta Properties is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Lane to the Board of Salta Properties and as Investment Director of Salta Capital.

Lisa rejoins the company in 2021 after 15 years. During this time Lisa has established a reputation as a leading property lawyer in Melbourne, concluding her practice as a Partner in the property and development group at Colin Biggers & Paisely Lawyers.  From 2012, Lisa also co-founded and lead the DBC Group, a diversified prop-tech group including Conveyancing.com.au and RapidBuildingInspections.com.au.

Lisa’s deep domain knowledge in the areas of asset management, commercial and property law, along with her commercialisation experience from start up through to scale up uniquely positions her to successfully fulfil her role within our group.

Bio

 

Lisa is an Executive Director of Salta Properties and an Investment Director of Salta Capital.

 Having commenced with Salta Properties in 2000 as General Manager of Asset Management, Lisa rejoins the company in 2021 after 15 years in property law.  Beginning her legal career in the property law group at renowned commercial law firm Arnold Bloch Leibler, Lisa specialised in commercial, residential, industrial, retail and mixed use property transactions with a focus on sales and acquisitions, development projects, off the plan contracts and portfolio leasing.  Lisa concluded her practice in property law as a Partner in the property and development team at Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers. 

 Concurrently Lisa co-founded and lead Conveyancing.com.au and RapidBuildingInspections.com.au, now under the banner of diversified prop-tech business, the DBC Group.  As legal director and co-founder Lisa was responsible for a broad range of functions from legal compliance and delivery through to establishing a network of national and off shore offices taking the businesses from start up through to scale up.

Lisa holds a Degree in International Hotel Management from the Swiss Hotel Association International College of Hotel Management, a Graduate Diploma in Property from RMIT and a Juris Doctor (Law) from Monash University.  

Lisa and her husband Chris have three children Amelie, 8, Timothy, 3 and Ilaria, 1.5 as well as their latest additions, two pet cavoodles, Happy and Teddy Jnr.  Lisa loves a challenge to keep her motivated and is keen to hike Everest Base Camp in the not too distant future.
